Delete your account

You can delete your FreeMachine Universe account at any time, in the app or by asking us.

In the app

1. Open the Free Machine and go to Settings.
2. Tap Delete my account.
3. Tap Delete to confirm.

Your account is removed from the app straight away and erased for good after 30 days. Changed your mind? Sign back in with the same Apple or Google account before then and everything comes back.

By email

If you can’t open the app, email support@freemachineuniverse.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. Tell us whether you sign in with Apple or Google. We’ll confirm it’s you, delete the account and email you when it’s done. The same 30-day window applies before it’s erased for good.

What is erased after 30 days

• Your profile: name, sign-in account ID, email and phone number if you added one
• Every entry you logged (savings, treats, unexpected costs, good deeds) and any photos or videos attached
• Your requests and verifications, network connections, offer preferences and notification settings
• Profiles for children you run from your device. Children who’ve moved to their own phone keep their accounts.

What is kept

• Family members keep their own balances and entries, including entries you logged on their profiles and your shared-pot entries.
• We may keep limited records where the law requires it, such as a note that a deletion request was handled. Nothing is kept for marketing.

If you signed in with Apple, you can also stop using Sign in with Apple for the app from your Apple Account settings on your iPhone.
